Why I have a puppy application

Only people who want to purchase a Utopia poodle puppy neeed to fill out the application. If you have a question, please email me. Your full name is important to me, because I'd like to know with whom I'm dealing. You know my name - I should know yours.

Your address and phone numbers are needed for several reasons. I need them so I can have your paperwork ready before you come pick up your puppy. If there is a power outage or storm, and I need to get in touch with you, I need your phone numbers.

The answers to many of the other questions tell me if you've been a responsible pet owner in the past, and give me some idea of the kind of home the puppy will be going to. I ask about health issues because I don't want someone who is physically incapable of caring for a puppy to buy one, run into trouble, and have to bring it back a few days later. This is unfair to the puppy, upsetting to you, and annoying to me. If you think you or a family member might be allergic to poodle hair, it is your responsibility to find out for sure before purchasing a puppy. You are more than welcome to come over for a few hours to expose the potentially allergic person to poodles. Of course, I welcome any puppy back for any reason, but pet allergies are not a valid reason for a refund. This may sound harsh, but anyone can say they're allergic to a puppy, when the truth is, they made a mistake and just don't want the puppy any more. I don't want anyone buying one of my puppies unless they've put some serious thought into the decision.
